The value should reflect the estimated cost to rebuild your home and other structures (i.e garage, outdoor kitchen, etc), excluding the land. For condos and townhomes, the building value estimate should be based on the units interior (i.e. cabinets, flooring, fixtures, etc). Note: Our program only insures single family residences. For multi-family residences (such as: duplex, triplex, ejido, casita rented out to others, etc.) you'll need to seek commercial coverage.
For assistance in determining the estimated cost of construction per square foot for your single family home, please use our Construction Cost Estimate Guide. For a condo or townhome, you'll need to estimate the cost to replace all the interior elements (i.e.countertops, toilets, sinks, fixtures, flooring, cabinetry etc.).
Please select the primary use for your home, townhome or condo. If you plan to rent to others, select that option. Your premium will not change if you rent, but coverage could be denied if you rent to others and don't disclose it on this application.
